Currently, Mrs. Gati is President of TTG Global LLC, a consulting firm focusing on global political and economic trends, with a special focus on US foreign policy towards Russia and Eurasia. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Angara Industries, a decarbonization tech company helping high-emission industries in the US, EU, Asia and Russia to abate millions of tons of CO2 emissions in a cost effective manner by boosting fuel efficiency. She is also Vice Chairman of The School of Civic Education, a non-governmental organization dedicated to the development of civil society in Eurasia,
For 6 years, until early March 2022, she was an Independent Member of the Board of Directors of PJSC LUKoil and a member of the company’s Strategy, Investment, Sustainability and Climate Adaptation Committee. Previously Mrs. Gati worked for 20 years as a Senior International Adviser at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLC, advising business and government clients on foreign policy issues and international relations.
She also served in high-level positions in the White House and the State Department from 1993 to 1997: in the National Security Council as Special Assistant to President Clinton and Senior Director on Russia, Ukraine and the Eurasian States, and in the Department of State as Assistant Secretary for Intelligence and Research (INR), where she was responsible for providing analysis of all major foreign policy issues to the Secretary of State and other high level State Department officials.
In recognition of her service to the US Government, she was presented with several awards, including:

Before joining the National Security Council, she was Senior Vice President at the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) , where for two decades she ran the organization’s research on international political, security and economic issues and its Parallel Studies Programs with the Soviet Union, China, Japan and other countries.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Russian Literature from Pennsylvania State University and two Master’s Degrees (in Russian Language and Literature and in International Affairs) from Columbia University, as well as a Certificate from the Russian Institute. For several years, she worked as Research Assistant to Professor Zbigniew Brzezinski.
She is currently a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. For many years she served on the Board of the US-Russia Business Council (USRBC) and was also a founding member of the Valdai Discussion Group, and for several years a member of the Club’s Advisory Board. She also participated in the founding meetings in the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Astana Club.
She has published many articles on American foreign policy, US-Russian relations, and on the work of the United Nations, and appeared on numerous television and radio programs.
